Smart Kids High School ("the School", "we", "us") operates the Smart kids School mobile application (the "App"), made available to parents, students, and staff to access academic records, attendance, fee details, notices, and other school-related services.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information through the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

We collect only the information necessary to provide school-related services through the App.

03 App permissions

We do not use student or parent information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.
06 Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information stored and transmitted through the App, including access controls, encrypted transmission (HTTPS), and restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis.
While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07 Data retention
We retain student and parent information for as long as the student is enrolled at the School, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for academic record-keeping, statutory compliance, or to resolve disputes. Information is deleted or anonymized once it is no longer required for these purposes.
08 Children's privacy
The App is intended to be used by parents/guardians and staff, and by students under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Student information is provided and managed by the School and parents/guardians as part of the admission and enrollment process, with parental consent implied through enrollment at the School.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child through the App outside of this school-supervised context. Parents may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information, subject to the School's record-keeping obligations.
09 Your rights & choices
You may, by contacting the School:
- Request access to the personal information held about you or your child
- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of information, subject to the School's statutory record-keeping requirements
- Withdraw consent for optional features (such as photo upload) at any time
- Uninstall the App at any time to stop further data collection through it
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will update the "Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
